First Real Knitted thing

Aside from the cute baby mitten at Santa Barbara, of course ;)
and besides a washcloth!!!

Seriously, I've made dozens of washcloths. DOZENS. And I've started a million other things, but never finished. I finished a hat a few days ago, but unless you are Jewish and in need of a yarmulke, I"m afraid it won't even help to show it. (And Unfortunately, we are NOT in need of this type of hat. So there ya go...) It became a large washcloth. ;) Patience and longsuffering, especially through a hat, are clearly not strengths of mine at this point. Someday...

My baby girl wanted a hat. I needed to practice on circulars for my upcoming BIG PROJECT, so the two went together very well.

She loves it. It's a big floppy hat....what's not to love? I love it, although it's TOO BIG and I messed up a whole row, I didn't even attempt to rip it out.
No one will see it. :)
Isn't She Lovely?
